Known for their commitment to the health of our communities and stewardship of the environment, Repertory Dance Theatre will present a series of activities on Feb 18 at the Leonardo Museum to raise awareness of the importance of clean air.
RDT invites the public to participate in short Movement Explorations that will focus the impacts of air pollution, how the environment affects your health and the importance of making wise choices to help decrease pollution. Four Movement sessions beginning at 11:30am 12:00pm 12:30pm 1:30pm will invite your participation in a gentle and fun 20 minute movement adventure.
At 2:00 pm RDT dancers will perform in response to Amy Caron’s immense sculpture filling The Leonardo atrium. Holotype is a dynamic instillation inspired by algae that suggest an inner landscape or “inscape: that the dancers will use as a springboard for choreography as they perform around, between, inside and under the translucent organic forms.
